Queen Street Central Hall has been refurbished in recent years making it an ideal place of worship for large or small congregations. The membership is gathered from around the town and local area and seeks to offer a warm welcome to all. Throughout the year many visitors head for Queen Street to share in the services and special events.
Over the years Queen Street has enjoyed a good preaching ministry which is continued today through our minister, Rev. Geoff Bowell. Geoff and his wife, Helen and family, commenced their ministry in Scarborough in September 2006 having served previously in Peterhead and Mosborough.
Geoff has already made his mark on the congregation with his lively approach and real commitment to preaching the truth about Jesus. The prayer life of the church and the fellowship shared together has become an important part of our way forward. Bible study, Cell Groups and Alpha courses are all part of the church development. Young people are being attracted to a Circuit Youth Fellowship housed here at Queen Street and there is a Boys’ Brigade Company also attached to the church.
